Summer Cruiser – Yellowknife, NT

Spend your summer break in Yellowknife at the best events, representing 100.1 True North FM! We’re gearing up for a fantastic return to summer with our cruiser program and are looking for someone who’s outgoing, reliable and organized to represent the stations and its clients!

Summary

• Position runs from the May Long weekend to the end of summer
• Responsible for the promotion of 100.1 True North FM & sponsors in our community
• Compiling a calendar of pertinent events for our listeners and public appearances at as many of those events as possible
• Photograph events and attendees to post for our social media platforms
• Phoned 'cut-ins' to the on-air staff to promote the events to our listeners
• Liaise with the Sales, Promotions and Programming staff to ensure maximum exposure at events deemed to be of special note
• Compiling a log of events that can be used to write a year-end report to be submitted to the cruiser sponsors
• Management of promotional items inventory for distribution throughout the 3 month period

Requirements

• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• Must enjoy a fast-paced work environment that is based on team & individual effort
• A valid G driver's license
• Be insurable and have a clean driver’s abstract
• A positive, friendly manner
• A working knowledge of GSuite, including Drive, Docs, Sheets, and Slides is valuable
