Spend your weekends in Prince George at the best events, representing Country 97FM and 94.3 The GOAT! We are gearing up for another summer with our cruiser program and we are looking for an outgoing, reliable, organized member to represent our stations and clients!
Summary
- Position runs for a 4 month period
- Responsible for the promotion of Country 97FM and 94.3 The GOAT & sponsors in our community
- Compiling a calendar of pertinent events for our listeners and public appearances at as many of those events as possible
- Photograph events and attendees to post for our social media platforms
- Phoned 'cut-ins' to the on-air staff to promote the events to our listeners
- Liaise with the Sales, Promotions and Programming staff to ensure maximum exposure at events deemed to be of special note
- Compiling a log of events that can be used to write a year-end report to be submitted to the cruiser sponsors
- Management of promotional items inventory for distribution throughout the 4 month period
Requirements
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Must enjoy a fast-paced work environment that is based on team & individual effort
- A valid driver's license in BC
- Be insurable and have a clean driver’s abstract
- A positive, friendly manner
- A working knowledge of GSuite, including Drive, Docs, Sheets, and Slides is valuable
