Spend your summer in Grande Prairie at the best events, representing 2day FM and MyGrandePrairieNow.com We’re gearing up for a fantastic return to summer with our cruiser program and are looking for someone who’s outgoing, reliable and organized to represent the stations and its clients!
Summary
- Position runs from May 22 until the end of September long weekend
- Responsible for the promotion of 104.7 2day FM, mygrandeprairienow.com & sponsors in our community
- Compiling a calendar of pertinent events for our listeners and public appearances at as many of those events as possible
- Photograph events and attendees to post for our social media platforms
- Record live 'cut-ins' to promote the events to our listeners
- Liaise with the Sales, Promotions and Programming staff to ensure maximum exposure at events deemed to be of special note
- Compiling a log of events that can be used to write a year-end report to be submitted to the cruiser sponsors
- Management of promotional items inventory for distribution throughout the 15 week period
Requirements
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Must enjoy a fast-paced work environment that is based on team & individual effort
- A valid G driver's license in AB
- Be insurable and have a clean driver’s abstract
- A positive, friendly manner
- A working knowledge of GSuite, including Drive, Docs, Sheets, and Slides is valuable
- Strong writing skills
